Why Social Entrepreneurship? |
|
| |
Social entrepreneurship is the work of a social entrepreneur. A social entrepreneur is someone who recognizes a social problem and uses entrepreneurial principles to organize, create, and manage a venture to make social change.
Whereas business entrepreneurs typically measure performance in profit, social entrepreneurs determine success in terms of the impact they have on society. |

In keeping with our social entrepreneurship philosophy, we acquire investment assets, either real estate, businesses, or other assets for our endowment through the bargain sale method.
The IRS approved Bargain Sale method has been around for years, and as long as non-profit entities have existed and taking tax deductable charitable contributions. |
